Iced Caramel Macchiato

Iced caramel macchiato

Amidst winter's frost, there's a timeless indulgence that knows no season—the Iced Caramel Macchiato. This tasty blend of espresso's boldness, the creamy milk, and the sweetness of caramel stands as a testament to year-round delight.

So, as winter's icy fingers trace delicate patterns on the windows, let the Iced Caramel Macchiato be your reminder that amidst the chill, some pleasures are simply too exquisite to confine to a particular time of year.

Ingredients:

  • 1 regular dark roasted k cup or 2-3 ounces of strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup cold milk or alternative
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 3 pumps vanilla syrup (about 4 teaspoons)
  • Caramel for drizzle

Directions:

  1. Brew a dark roasted k cup at the smallest cup setting. For alternative brewing methods, prepare a strong cup of dark roast coffee and let it cool.
  2. Add 3 pumps of vanilla syrup into a glass filled halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Pour 1 cup of cold milk over the ice.
  4. For Keurig users, slowly pour the brewed coffee over the milk and ice. For non-Keurig users, add the cooled brewed coffee to the glass.
  5. Drizzle a generous amount of caramel sauce over the top for added sweetness.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Pro-tip: Keurig users can utilize the Shot option on K-Cafe or opt for a 4 oz cup size for the perfect balance. For regular coffee, brew twice as strong for that robust flavour!
